Regional Payroll Sales Director – Charlotte, NC

We are seeking a Regional Payroll Sales Director in Charlotte, NC to generate new client leads, retain existing clients within Goldleaf Partners Payroll, establish relationships with key decision makers, close sales, and recommend integrated Goldleaf Partners services.

KEY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop marketing and sales strategies to reach the target market
  • Prospect for new clients and, when needed, assist the internal team in cross-selling to existing clients
  • Present Goldleaf Partners payroll and HR products and services to prospects by performing demonstrations of the application(s) to the end user and final decision makers
  • Analyze the customer’s needs to determine how the client will benefit from working with Goldleaf Partners and effectively communicate to the decision makers
  • Conduct negotiations on behalf of Goldleaf Partners to secure the sale of services
  • Achieve sales quota and retention goals that will be established on a quarterly basis
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast data
  • Engage internal resources as needed to address client issues
  • Complete and submit new client paperwork to the installation team

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS and relevant work experience with sales and payroll
  • 3+ years of strategic account sales
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed sales objectives over the course of several years
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure confidentiality of data
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow through
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time
  • Valid driver’s license

OTHER DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with M-Files/Salesforce.com
  • Understanding of in-house and third party payroll service delivery models
